FAQ

Do I stop wearing my undercap?
No. Nothing about how you cover changes. The routine only uses the night.

Will it stain my cap or pillow?
No. It's never under your scarf, and the satin bonnet keeps it off the pillow.

What about wudu?
It's on overnight and washed out in the morning, so there's no oil on your hair in the day. We don't give religious rulings; ask your scholar if you have a specific question.

Is it halal?
Yes. It's a single plant oil, batana, with no alcohol and no animal-derived ingredients, so it's halal-friendly and vegan. (Hilal means crescent moon.)

Is it real batana?
Yes. Our supplier lists one ingredient: batana oil. Nothing else is added.

How soon will I notice anything?
Leaves hair feeling soft and conditioned. Give the routine a fair run of nightly use before you judge it. Results vary. We'll never promise a new hairline.

How long does a jar last?
A 120 g jar, and a fingertip a night is all you use.

Will it itch?
Patch-test on your wrist 24 hours first. Stop if it irritates.

Pregnant or breastfeeding?
It's a cosmetic oil for external use, but check with your doctor first.

Is it a subscription?
No. One-time purchase. No subscription. Every jar you pay for ships, with tracking.

How much is shipping, and how long does it take?
Every kit ships free to the United States; the 2-jar Starter on its own ships for $5.99, or free on orders $59+. Ships from our US warehouse · arrives in 3–8 business days, with tracking.

What if I don't love it?
The 90-Night Promise: your 90 nights start the day your order is delivered. Not for you? Send one email to support@tryhilal.com with your order number. No forms. You get every cent back, shipping included, to your original payment method within 5 business days. Even if the jar's empty. You don't send anything back.

Safety
